Rooke Isaac was born on January 11th at 1:03am.

We went to the hospital on Thursday at 12:30 to be induced. The contractions really started kicking in around 6 that evening and labor continued beautifully until he was placed in our arms at one the next morning. He weighed 8lbs. 10.5 oz. and measured 19.5in long and we are loving every bit of him! Most of the initial comments are either about his strawberry blonde hair or how big he is. We are so grateful for a healthy baby and the blessing he already is.

"K-Kaye" and "Big Daddy" were at the hospital when Rooke was born and are staying with us. It's been wonderful to have the extra help at home already.
Auntie Aubyn drove down from Canada to see her nephew!

Congratulations Ryan & Angela! Welcome baby Rooke! I'm glad you're here, safe & in your parents' arms. What a blessing to have the help of your family now. He's beautiful! I really like the picture of Angela & Rooke, with Aubyn & K-Kaye! :)

YEAH!!!! Rooke has made it into the world....I have tears in my eyes, friend...I love you guys!
Congratulations Angela and Ryan. He is a cutie! What a fun picture of him all by himself. His first "glossy". The "Martin girls" look lovely gathering around Rooke too. I'm so glad Aubyn made it down to see him.

Congrats! We can't wait to see the three of you in March. Corbett was pretty pumped to see pictures of Rooke, he wants to teach Rooke to play basketball on the goal you gave him...we told him he'd have to wait a bit. He is very handsome and we really are just so excited for you. Nothing compares to being a parent, you are going to love (almost) every minute of it! :)
we're glad to hear he finally arrived! i must admit, hearing how late he came makes me nervous...i'm anxiously counting down the days for our own. but, he is beautiful (er, handsome) and we can't wait to have a play date!!
