The commencement ceremony was great - really! I think it helped that I had a cute distraction during the boring parts:
And Ryan's parents were there to help cheer him on! It was so special for them both to be here for the ceremony.
Ryan was on the aisle (and happens to be extremely good looking), so he made it on the big screen several times.
They took the time to "hood" all the graduates, which gave us a chance to cheer. You'd be surprised at how much noise three adults and a baby can make for one graduate! I was so overcome with excitement, I shouted, "That's my husband!!!!" The crowd laughed and I started crying with joy as my husband walked off the stage, a certified graduate.
Way to go, Ryan!

Congratulations!
I'll be honest for some reason this post almost made me cry. It could be because I'm oddly emotional right now, but nonetheless I'm so excited for your family and the journey God is taking you on!
You cried as he walked off the stage and I cried reading your description. I'll blame the post-partume hormones, but really I'm just really excited for you guys!! You have a lot to be proud of Ang!

Congratulations to BOTH of you for making it through this long journey with a happy marriage intact and two beautiful babies thriving! What an accomplishment.
Dude, this just got real.
could you hear us cheering from London? i would have cried right along with you Angela. Do you remember when we all cheered for Dad when he graduated from seminary. You were 11, Aubyn 9, Konnor 6. That is a great feeling isn't it. Yeah for the whole Payne family.
