November Phone Dump

Is it really December already?!?!

Lookin' good after visiting the barber with Daddy

We've started going to a drop-in dance class with our neighbor.  Gretchen says she wants to take ballet, so we are practicing and preparing for a real class after she turns three!

When was the last time you got to eat dinner with a superhero?!

Her smiles never cease to brighten my day!

Funny girl loves bell peppers . . . even first thing in the morning!

Her first ride in a shopping cart!

Pig tails!!

He can almost make applesauce entirely by himself!

Looking through some of Rooke's baby clothes in anticipation of our nephew's birth made for a fun time of dress-up with Bridgette!

I made sure to do an adult puzzle during Thanksgiving weekend this year.

Their first visit to see Santa (couldn't take pictures inside).  He was by far the lamest Santa I've ever been around, but they each got a toy to take home, so they didn't care!

Date night: kids with grandparents, mouth-watering yummy mexican food, and my hot husband.

A play date with little Joseph and his mommy

"Mary, your baby is crying!  Give him his pacifier."

Sticker fun while I prepared dinner.

Bouncy B

Rooke and Gretchen weren't big fans, but our little Bridgette loves the jumper!

Spain {part 3}

Our week in Spain was full of a lot of chill time.  We all needed that.

Having my mom and dad with us a bonus to our time spent together.  The kids are slowly figuring out that when grandparents are around, treats are usually involved!  Bridgette loved her lemon "treat"!  Funny girl.

He was showing me how strong he is.

Oh Bridgette, you are so beautiful!

The many faces of our boy.

On our last day, we had to check out by 10, but our flight didn't leave until 9pm.  Thankfully, the weather was perfect.  It was the kind of weather we were hoping to have all week, but to end with such a great day was wonderful.  We played on the beach for six hours!  One of us even snuck in a nap.

And then it was time to get cleaned up, hop in the car, and grab dinner on the way to the airport.  We worked our way through customs with three (tired) kids, three car seats, two carry-on roll bags, two backpacks, one medium roll bag and one stroller!  All three kids were asleep when we landed safely in England and went back to sleep in the car as we made our way home.  It was good to get away and great to be back home.

Spain {part 2, Ronda}

We planned another day trip that went much better than Gibraltar.  The town of Ronda was only 45 miles away, but it took us an hour-and-a-half of driving through gorgeous mountain roads to get there.  Besides being the birthplace of modern bull-fighting, Ronda has breath-taking panoramic views as the town straddles a gorge.  There are two bridges that connect the older and newer parts of the city.  We spent the day eating, walking, and taking in the amazing scenery.

Thank you, Rick Steves, for the suggestion to stop in at this cafe and bar.  The tapas were delicious!

 My dad relaxing and patiently waiting until we were all ready to move on.

The view from the bars I am sitting on look over into this gorge!

We didn't tour the bull ring, but walked around it and explained bull-fighting to the kids.  They later pretended to be bulls in the center of the main plaza!

We watched the sun set as we drove back.  The magnificent colors and beauty compelled us to pull over.  These pictures don't do it justice.  We stood in awe of our incredible Creator.
